The Spanish art collective atipo has produced a series of 15 posters for classic movies, “papeles de cine” / “papers for characters”, as a commission by the Spanish graphics art company Minke. Using only some stationary supplies, each artist captures the essence of a film, though sometimes the film title is needed to decode the image.
A stitch in time endangers nine?
Both sf/f/horror genre films (including Jaws, Psycho, Dracula, and Fahrenheit 451) and mainstream films (such as Bonnie and Clyde or The Bridge on the River Kwai) are represented.
Even Spencer Tracy would approve!
