Looks like 9 months’ worth of book group reading, in one great package, with extras. I would love to hear what the other Beamers have to say about this set.

  2. Well, they are classics. I think it’s a great idea, provided we spread out the reading over a couple of years or pick from among the books. I really don’t want to be back in the 50’s for none months straight. The price is currently $60 online. There is also a “companion” boxed set of American Fantastic Tales: Terror and the Uncanny from Poe to Now, 86 classic stories and 1400 pages of fantasy, horror, and the supernatural; we should consider that as well.
